FRAME
5 YEAR GUARANTEE
EARTHLINE guarantees the frame in its hand crafted products to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for five years, assuming normal usage of your product.
2 YEAR GUARANTEE
EARTHLINE ensures that the leather and fabric in its handcrafted products won't tear or split under normal use for two years from the date of purchase. Stitching is also guaranteed defect-free during this period. Our leathers, mostly full grain and full analines, have natural variations in grain, texture, color, and tones, contributing to the uniqueness of each piece. However, this guarantee doesn't cover natural characteristics like insect markings, veining, or color variations between hides, as leather is a natural product.
COVERINGS INCLUDING LEATHER AND FABRIC
FOAM
2 YEAR GUARANTEE
Over time foam generally softens with household use. Foam will also contour to your shape with day to day use. As such EARTHLINE guarantees the foam in its hand crafted products to be free from abnormal loss of flexibility or resiliency for a period of two years from the date the original purchaser received the product.
As fibre and foam used in seat cushioning of the EARTHLINE product will soften and flatten with ageing, associated with normal use of this product, it is not covered by this guarantee and shall not be considered a defect in materials or workmanship.
This type of softening and flattening should not be misconstrued with abnormal loss of flexibility and resiliency. Cushions will soften with normal use and aging.
GUARENTEES EXCLUSIONS
This EARTHLINE guarantee covers only the original purchaser of the exclusive products made by EARTHLINE.
• This Guarantee does not apply to any EARTHLINE products used in a commercial environment.
• This guarantee covers EARTHLINE products used for normal household use.
• This guarantee does not apply to damage resulting from misuse, abuse, neglect, accidents, burns, fire, water or other hazard, transport after
original delivery to you, the original purchaser.
• As EARTHLINE products are hand crafted from natural materials, this guarantee excludes issues resulting from your products exposure to direct
sunlight, extreme heat or similar conditions resulting in discoloration, cracking or peeling of the leather.
• The EARTHLINE guarantee will cease if following products are applied to the coverings,
- cleaners,
- conditioners,
- treatments, or other chemical products not approved in writing by EARTHLINE
GUARENTEES EXCLUSIVE
If EARHLINE upholstered product does not conform to the aforesaid guarantee, your sole and exclusive remedy’s are as follows:
• The REPAIR of any defective product or repair of any part of any product determined to be defective.
• REPLACEMENT of any defective product or replacement of any product determined to be defective; or
• The original purchase price paid by the purchaser for the defective product, upon return to EARTHLINE of the defective product free from all liens
and claims at EARTHLINES’s sole discretion.
IMPLIED GUARANTEES, INCLUDING IMPLIED GUARANTEES OF MERCHANTABILIY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ARE LIMITED TO THE DURATION OF THE EXPRESS GUARANTEES SET FORTH FOR THE EARTHLINE UPHOLSTERED PRODUCT FRAMES, CUSHIONING, LEATHER AND STITCHING AND PARTS SET FORTH IN THE GUARANTEE.
The guarantee and remedies are exclusive and are in lieu of all guarantees, warranties and remedies, verbal or written, express or implied. Earthline shall not be held responsible for any incidental or consequential damages including but not limited to the loss of time, usage, or money. Secondly in no instance shall the responsibility of Earthline for any agreed defect exceed the purchase price paid by the original purchaser of the product.
GUARANTEE CLAIMS PROCEDURE
Should the unfortunate instance occur where a defect is incurred in one of EARTHLINES hand crafted products, please contact the retailer where the product was purchased. Please provide the retailer the relevant pictures, a concise written description of the alleged defect and copy of a dated proof of purchase of the product.
Please make guarantee claims promptly following the discovery of any alleged defect, but no later than 30 days after you have discovered the alleged defect.
THE RETAILER WILL FORWARD YOUR GUARNATEE CLAIM AND PHOTOS TO EARTHLINE FOR CONSIDERATION IF THE RETAILER DETERMINES THE ALLEGED DEFECT MAY BE COVERED BY THIS GUARANTEE.
